Nextcom’s remarkable growth was possible by the 1968 landmark decision of the Federal Communications Commission. The "Carterfone Decision" permitted suppliers of telecommunications equipment to connect their products to the nationwide telephone network. Business telephone users were no longer forced to lease from the telephone companies and for the first time were provided the means to alternative communication systems.

In this new, competitive environment, Nextcom gained a well-deserved reputation as a designer and installer of key telephone systems that offered business executives new ways to increase office productivity and efficiency.

Nextcom has steadily expanded its staff from 7 to over 50 employees. Nextcom is owned and operated by a team of highly skilled engineers with hands-on involvement will all aspect of day-to-day operation. All our engineers hold degrees from reputable Southern California Universities.
